The 1st Port Nelson - 20th Burlington Scout Group has two ongoing fundraising projects and several seasonal projects that help offset the cost of Camps, Outing and Special events including our Annual Family Banquet.

Annual Maple Syrup Fundraiser

The 1st Port Nelson ~ 20th Burlington Scouts Group's has to thank the Burlington Lions Club to allow us to participate in our sixth year selling Quebec Maple Syrup products as a Fund Raising project. The monies raised from this project are used by our Scout Group to support Scouting.

The Maple Syrup is Grade A - No. 1 - Light.

The 1st Port Nelson ~ 20th Burlington Scout Group joins with the 1st Port Nelson, 2nd Burlington and 9th Burlington Scout Groups for Apple Day. We assign the youth to locations between Appleby Line in the East to King Road in the West and South of the QEW to Lakeshore, with the exception of the area south of New Street from Appleby Line to Walkers Line.
Rib Fest

Every Labour Day weekend the 1st Port Nelson ~ 20th Burlington Scout Group runs a fundraising project at the Lakeshore Rotary's Rib-Fest. We have traditionally sold glow sticks and other bright flashy things in the evenings.

Tin Cans

The 1st Port Nelson / 20th Burlington Venturers collect:
- Empty aluminum beverage containers
- Empty Beer bottles and Beer cans and liquor bottles.
- 591ml plastic pop bottles
as ongoing fundraising projects.

If you are willing to donate any of these items please contact the Venturers and they will gladly pick them up.
